Hotel Industry is very well develop in India and therefore increased number of Hotel Management Institutes under NCHMCT. The demand of trained manpower is increasing day-by-day and therefore the country have many good hotel management Institutes. NCHMCT manages government as well as private institutes in almost all states of India.
The admission in these institutes is on the basis of Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) conducted by National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The NCHMCT JEE is an online objective test of 200 marks and there are following subjects :

- Aptitude for Service Sector
The admission in hotel management institutes under NCHMCT is on the basis rank the student get during the JEE Exam. In case the student manages to get good rank, he/ she get a chance to get top institute. The seats are allocated during the online counseling based on the rank in JEE. Most of the students qualify for admission in government institutes, but the students with rank up to four thousand manage to get the seats in top hotel management institutes in metro cities. Although most of the central government institutes under NCHMCT have good infrastructure, the institute in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore get advantage of being in the metro city will more number of hotels for job placements. The fees in all the goverment institutes is same, although the hostel fees may differ.
